I usually hate pimping myself, but I make soaps, lotions, lotion bars, scrubs (salt and sugar), and lip balms.  The prices are quite reasonable and I'm going to post some big discounts on glycerin soap bars that aren't very pretty or are slightly damaged.

Well the publisher likes our manuscript!  The only prob is that they wanna wait a year.  They are a new publisher and they publish manga.  Ours would be their first literary book!  Because of the push back, they offered to let us out and shop it to others, but I know how that works.  It would take a year to two years to get someone else interested in it and reading it, and they may hate it.  

It sucks to be a baby author sometimes, with nothing attached to your name.  Oh well!  At least one company likes it!

So we'll wait and hope that it'll get published soon.  It's titled 'Morrigan's Brood'.  To describe it in the sentence that our editor gave to get the bigwigs interested .... picture  - Celtic, Pagan vampires hunting for a lost treasure.  She says we write generally like fantasy writers.  

We're also working on a sequel that will be named (if the publishers like it), Morrigan's Brood: Dark Alliance.

I also finished up my practicum!  Yay!!!  I loved it!  I wish I could go back at work at the central branch.  I'm going to try to get a part time librarian assistant job there for this semester, which will allow me to get first crack at a librarian I position after I get my masters.

Hmmmm... not sure what to say about myself.  I'm a library grad student.  I'm finishing up my program in December 07, knock on particle board.  I'm also a writer.  My hub and I have a manuscript at a small publisher's and it sounds like it will go through, but please send some nice thoughts our way.  We're working on a sequel now.
